Itinerary
Day 1 (October 8, 2026)
Planned Activities: Welcome to Madrid! We check in to our 4 star hotel, our home for the next four nights. We then officially kick off our trip with a group welcome dinner.

Note: If your flight arrives early in the day or even the day before, there will be add-on activities/tours available that we can fully arrange for you.
Day 2 (October 9, 2026)
Planned Activities: We enjoy our first morning in cosmopolitan Madrid with a group breakfast, followed by a private city tour, where you see the incredible highlights of the exquisite Spanish capital city. We then experience one of the true joys of Madrid - a delicious lunch at one of the markets. The afternoon gives us more history with a private guided tour of the Prado Museum to see some of the famed art of Spain. After a rest break, we enjoy dinner together.

Day 3 (October 10, 2026)
Planned Activities: After another lovely breakfast, we head to the Royal Palace and the Almudona Cathedral for tours of these historic landmarks. We then have lunch separately if needed, as you have the afternoon to yourself with your choice of add-on activities. We complete the day with a lovely dinner where we enjoy some Spanish cuisine, followed by a stunning Flamenco show.

Day 4 (October 11, 2026)
Planned Activities: We gather early for group breakfast before hopping on our transfer to Toledo for a day tour of this religious and cultural center. We enjoy the day together along with a break for lunch before returning to Madrid for the evening. We gather for a delicious group dinner before turning in for the night.

Day 5 (October 12, 2026)
Planned Activities: After our breakfast, we start our journey to San Sebastián. As Anthony Bourdain said, there is no better place to eat in Europe! We have a rather long transfer, so we break up the time with a stop in the historical city of Burgos. We enjoy lunch, tour the epic cathedral, and explore the town before finishing our journey north. We arrive in San Sebastián in time to check in and enjoy a lovely dinner.

Day 6 (October 13, 2026)
Planned Activities: Once we finish breakfast, we enjoy a tour of the coastal city of San Sebastián. From there we head out on a pintxo tour, based on the Basque version of tapas, and have the world-famous Basque cheesecake. After all that incredible food, you are free to enjoy dinner on your own.

Day 7 (October 14, 2026)
Planned Activities: We have an early breakfast followed by a transfer to the airport to head to our next destination - Barcelona. We arrive in the early afternoon which allows us to have lunch and tour the Picasso Museum before an elegant meal at a very nice restaurant in Barcelona.

Flights Included: San Sebastián to Barcelona

Day 8 (October 15, 2026)
Planned Activities: We begin with breakfast before an tour of the highlights of Barcelona, including some gorgeous views of the city. We stop for lunch during the tour. We then rest briefly before heading out for our dinner in the evening.

Day 9 (October 16, 2026)
Planned Activities: We begin with breakfast before starting the day with an activity of your choosing. We then gather at Mercat de la Boqueria for lunch before enjoying a wine tasting. We have time to wind down at our final hotel before enjoying our goodbye dinner.

Day 10 (October 17, 2026)
Planned Activities: After our final breakfast, your pre-arranged transfers take you to the airport to return you home.
Note: If you are staying longer, we can make other arrangements for excursions or hotels as needed.

Pricing and Payment

Double (shared room) occupancy: $4,700
Single (individual room) occupancy: $5,300
- Please note that double occupancy may include a room with only one bed, but we will try to accommodate two beds if requested.
- Solo travelers may request double occupancy, and an individual bed is guaranteed. We will assess the best roommate match once the trip is confirmed and spots have filled.
- A down payment of $1,300 is due at the time of reservation.
Payment and Cancellation Policies
Deposit
A down payment of $1,300 is due at the time of reservation. All remaining payments are due by July 10, 2026 (90 days pre-trip).
Spot Pending
Spots are considered pending until the minimum number of travelers is met. If the minimum number of travelers is not met, your down payment and any other payments toward this trip are refundable.
Spot Confirmed
Once the minimum number of travelers has been met, your spot is confirmed. You will receive an email to notify you of your spot confirmation. If your spot is confirmed but you cancel, your down payment is non-refundable. However, any additional payments are refundable.
90 Days Pre-Trip
If you cancel when your spot is confirmed and the trip is less than 90 days away (July 10, 2026 and later), your down payment and any other payments made are non-refundable.
