Itinerary
Day 1 (November 2, 2025)
Planned Activities: Welcome to Charleston! We check in to our 4 star hotel, our home for the next three nights. We then officially kick off our trip with a group welcome dinner (time will be shared in advance to allow for assistance with booking travel).
Optional Activities:
An informal group trip to the International African American Museum will occur prior to the welcome dinner. This is optional and not included in the trip cost. It can be added to the trip up to one week prior to the start of the trip.
Charleston Music Hall is presenting A Celebration of Film Music, which is an optional, non-included activity. Please ask about this when booking.

Day 2 (November 3, 2025)
Planned Activities: We enjoy our first morning in historical Charleston with a group breakfast, followed by a walking and storytelling tour of the city, including Rainbow Row, City Hall, and beautiful churches. We then gather together for a group lunch. The afternoon brings us a relaxing carriage tour of the city, followed by a tour of the Aiken Rhett house. After a rest break, we enjoy a sunset dinner.

Day 3 (November 4, 2025)
Planned Activities: After another lovely breakfast, we head to charming Middleton Place for beautiful scenery and important history. After a group lunch, we take to the water for a harbor cruise, where we learn more of the history of Charleston. Once docking after the cruise, you are free to enjoy your late afternoon and evening as you'd like. Your host is available to set up reservations or to join anyone for dinner if they desire.
An optional ghost tour of Charleston will be available in the evening which is not included in the trip pricing.

Day 4 (November 5, 2025)
Planned Activities: We awake on our last morning in Charleston and enjoy a breakfast together. After we check out, we take our comfortable transfer shuttle toward Savannah. On our way, we stop to see Beaufort, South Carolina and have our lunch there. After finishing our journey down to Savannah, we check into our hotel. We reconvene at a delicious group dinner before turning in for the night.

Day 5 (November 6, 2025)
Planned Activities: After our first breakfast in Savannah, we start our day with a historic trolley tour. We then enjoy a delightful afternoon tea together before visiting the birthplace of Juliet Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts. After the tour completes, you have free time for the remainder of the evening. Your host can assist you with plans for dinner or can arrange to join a group for dinner.

Day 6 (November 7, 2025)
Planned Activities: Once we finish breakfast, we visit the famous Bonaventure Cemetery for a tour of the grounds. We then visit Wormsloe Historic Site for views of the beautiful oaks and lovely photos. After a group lunch, we visit the three Telfair museums of Savannah. After a brief rest, we meet for our farewell dinner.

Day 7 (November 8, 2025)
Planned Activities: We enjoy our final breakfast before check out and transfers return us to the airport.

Pricing and Payment

Double (shared room) occupancy: $2,700
Single (individual room) occupancy: $3,200
- Please note that double occupancy for those traveling together may include a room with only one bed, but we will try to accommodate two beds if requested.
- Solo travelers may request double occupancy, and an individual bed is guaranteed. We will assess the best roommate match once the trip is confirmed and spots have filled.
- A down payment of $800 is due at the time of reservation.
Payment and Cancellation Policies
Deposit
A down payment of $800 is due at the time of reservation. All remaining payments are due by August 4, 2025 (90 days pre-trip).
Spot Pending
Spots are considered pending until the minimum number of travelers is met. If the minimum number of travelers is not met, your down payment and any other payments toward this trip are refundable.
Spot Confirmed
Once the minimum number of travelers has been met, your spot is confirmed. You will receive an email to notify you of your spot confirmation. If your spot is confirmed but you cancel, your down payment is non-refundable. However, any additional payments are refundable.
90 Days Pre-Trip
If you cancel when your spot is confirmed and the trip is less than 90 days away (August 4, 2025 and later), your down payment and any other payments made are non-refundable.
